Tribal Ethnic Pattern
Patterns are an amazing element in textiles and fashion. They reflect history, culture and arts, hundreds of years of heritage weaved into a piece of fabric, just like the tartans of Scotland (don't forget to check out my Wéko tartan!) Today I'm wearing a tribal patterned top that was originally a dress. I bought this on ASOS 6 years ago but have only worn it a couple of times, sometimes dresses can be too 'dressy' so I decided to shorten it and turn it into a top so I can wear it more often. I'm really happy with the result and love the colour combination. The one shoulder design makes it perfect for going out without looking too dolled up. It also goes perfectly well with a leather jacket for a more understated look. Fortunately if I want to go with a full dress, I have plenty of other options too!
This top was originally a cocktail dress, I bought it 7 years ago and had only worn it a couple of times. Now I've turned it into a top I can dress it down with a pair jeans or dress it up with a mini skirt and sexy Stilettos.
